#Poem: Sunset In Kintsugi

Can you see the clouds?

The dome is open above me
We might be alone
But we’re not unhappy.
I spoke to my kids, we didn’t argue
My neighbour did our shopping
The view from the flat changes
Though the people are tiny
It’s their faces I want to hear

Did you see the sky this evening?
The dome a vast marbled  vault
A tempest suspended in air
And far to the west a golden cracking
Even the sunset in kintsugi is saying
We were broken
Now we’re repaired
A perfect image to end tonight
I’ll send it to you later
