Painter

I have always painted since I can remember being in kindergarten. When I was growing up and living in Malaysia, I took private art lessons from Anthony Sum, who is a chinese calligrapher and artist who has exhibited all over the world and now lives in Australia.

When I came to study in England, I took up Art and Design as a GSCE and excelled in the practical lessons and loved being taught by painters like Andrew Burkitt, printers like Geoff Cropper and sculptors like Simon Todd

Jamie Zubairi’s painting practice took a break in 1996 when he was in his final year of LAMDA and concentrated on his acting career. In 2007 when the acting career was in full swing
